THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AT KERNS NURSERY, begins every year with our HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving, when our fresh Balsam Christmas trees will become available and when we have our wreath boards full of various wreaths and swags in different sizes and styles.  It is also a great weekend to place all your special or custom order for the Holiday season.   Enjoy refreshments at the shop and choose your Christmas tree or poinsettias to brighten up your home or to give as gifts to neighbors, friends and family.

CLOSED CHRISTMAS EVE AND DAY & OPEN DEC 26th 10-4. for End of Season Sale.

Here at Kerns we hand tie all our wreaths using fresh balsam pieces, ( sizes from 12" through 3', larger 4' wreaths must be ordered in advance) many incorporating white pine, incense cedar, blue-berried juniper, for a more woodsy naturally interesting  look.  When we decorate these natural wreaths we use pine cones of various sizes and species sometimes using walnuts, cinnamon sticks and branch tips as well.  We also make cheerful holiday wreaths with gold, red or silver balls, or red berries to add more color and sparkle.  Our wreaths are unique and tasteful, and truly the last vestige of a completely handmade Christmas tradition.  We also make swags (gathering of mixed greens, and door charms (smaller more refined version of a swag) table centerpieces, mantle decorations, and baskets large and small.  Balsam and white pine roping is available for sale as are pine boughs, and mixed green bunches for your own decorating needs.

 

We also make custom decorations for your home or business.  Just let us know your specifics or we can meet at your home to discuss possibilities. (custom orders cut off date is December 17th) Also FRESH FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS can be ordered for Christmas no later than December 20th.
