Our landscaping business continues to grow.  We are doing a lot of work with home owners on the Catskills Mountaintop.   On these two pages we showcase several recent projects, the Colby and Delaney houses, the Emerson Inn in Phoenicia and some new work around our own house.  This and other Kerns Landscaping Features pages show you examples and explain fresh new landscaping ideas that we employ when we approach a new project, whether it is a big new landscape around a newly built house, or an addition to existing gardens and spaces.

Delaney House project:   This landscaping project included new stone walls, terraces, stairs, fir and birch trees and general landscaping around a newly built house.

At the Kerns Nursery, you can see sample of of our Rock gardens, walkways and other examples of projects we build for our clients all over the Catskill MountainTop.  Please come and visit, bring friends and feel welcome to pic-nic in our grounds. 

Here's an idea for a flat stone pation, gaps between stones filled with ground cover ... we encourage guesta to stroll around our gardens, bring guests and have a pic-nic.

For your new landscaping project, we will draw on the wide resources of the Kerns Nursery, and on a wide network of suppliers.  All plants and materials that we will use in your project will be suited to the Catskills climate and soils.
