As we begin our 2008 season here at Kerns Nursery we would like
to let our customers know that we try our best to bring to our
sales tables the most current and viable plants offered by the
industry today. We think that our list of specialty
annual and bedding plants this
has more interesting and beautiful
cultivars than ever before. Of course our perennial numbers
also exceed over 500
varieties as well. It takes a great deal of work to label
so many plants, but we hope to give you as much
information as possible. We do our best to offer as much choice
of great material as almost any nursery anywhere, even though we
are small in size. Our shrubs and trees are always hand
selected by Bob and we are proud of the stock we carry.
We have expanded our exterior furniture selections to
include a new line of cedar furniture that is a little lighter
and can travel better in your vehicles. We also have a great
deal of beautiful pottery in stock; terra cotta, imported
glazed, and the top of the line Campana cast
stone planters, birdbaths and fountains. Here at our nursery
we try to keep the setting peaceful and relaxing so your
shopping experience is a joy and not a burden.

We have been very fortunate in receiving much work from many
home owners in the area. We appreciate all the confidence that
you have in our ability to put together a
landscape
solution
for your individual needs.
Thank you, our customers, for the support over the last 27
years!!!!!

Our
Gift and Garden
Shop is yet another reason to make a stop at Kerns Nursery. There
are gardening supplies, out door furnishings, quality stone and
clay pottery, fountains, bird baths and bird houses, and all types
of decorative garden accents. You will also find very unusual
items for home decorating or to give as gifts. The selection is
based primarily toward mountain living and captures a bit of a
“woodland theme”. Rustic baskets, candles, balsam pillows, moose
and bears and more. All items are selected for quality
home and garden décor.
Don’t forget the new
line of original beaded
jewelry created by Pat that is now available at the shop or
through our online site. Brides can now come for consultations
for their wedding flowers as well as the wedding party jewelry,
which can be custom made to match any style and colors. What a
great solution for Bridesmaid gifts!
Remember that we are
open for the Christmas
Season also. The shop is full of Christmas decorating,
collecting and gift items. We carry Christmas trees and all the
wreaths, baskets and arrangements are hand made from local balsam
and a mix of other accent greens.
